Wrexham Police Station, WrexhamBuilt in the 1970’s, Wrexham Police Station has been dubbed outdated for many years by local residents. Late last year, North Wales Police opened Wrexham’s brand new £21.5m eco-friendly police station based nearby. The modern station has now replaced the old site as headquarters for Wrexham Police. Following the transfer of staff and services from the old 12 storey building to the new location, UCML were approached to coordinate the disconnection of electricity from the old building so it could be demolished. UCML’s tech and project management team are working on the scheme with the project being an ongoing one. UCML are liaising with the network operator owner to ensure the process is smooth through decommissioning the supply from the substation.
