Solvay, WrexhamIn 2015, a manufacturing company expanded its site with a 75,000sq ft metre facility. The new build was constructed opposite the company’s existing unit. The company supplies its products to a variety of clients including the aerospace industry. UCML were utility procurement consultants for the project’s duration. UCML coordinated the diversion of a water main, the diversion of telecom infrastructure, and procured quotations for the relocation of existing street lights. UCML also managed legal issues with Scottish Power infrastructure, which sped up the process for the client. UCML procured a bespoke quotation for the electricity connections which included reinforcement of an 11kV network which was rerouted through the site. Through doing this, UCML saved the client time and significant money.
