Shakespeare Hotel, Southport Initially, UCML were appointed to aid the demolition of the old Shakespeare hotel in Southport. UCML coordinated the disconnection of existing utilities, including the removal of all meters. UCML also advised on design changes which would aid the installation of new utilities, which proved to be a more cost-effective solution. UCML then procured competitive quotations for the new scheme, which will consist of 8 houses and 15 apartments. Upon review of the site, UCML found that the modern development required a larger allowance for electric vehicle charging. Electric vehicle charging is becoming an increasingly popular installation in new build developments as it is considered to be a more environmentally effective solution. UCML offer a bespoke service and are always happy to discuss specific site requirements such as EV charging.
