UCML were asked to coordinate and project manage a scheme in Prescot. The residential development will compromise of 28 new dwellings on completion, built as 2 and 3 bedroom houses. The new houses will aim to reflect existing Georgian terrace houses on Prescot Road. Upon an initial review of the site, it was identified that water and electricity mains ran alongside the rear of the development. The mains serviced existing properties opposite the new site. In order for the scheme to progress, the mains needed diverting from the rear of the site, to the front. In addition to this, all existing service connections needed replacing. Despite the complexity of the scheme, UCML were able to coordinate and manage all of the necessary diversions, and were able to deliver to its client’s timescales, ensuring the next stage of the scheme could progress smoothly.
