UCML recognises that Health and Safety is an integral part of the business and will take appropriate actions and provide necessary resources to achieve legal compliance as a minimum standard. This is achieved by taking reasonably practicable steps to minimise risk to ensure the safety, health and welfare of employees and others who may be affected by its activities.
Environmental Policy Statement
The Directors of UCML are aware that they have ultimate responsibility for the environmental issues at our premises. Whilst recognising the minimal impact that UCML places on the environment, all at UCML will continue to strive to maintain and continually improve upon this position.

UCML’s Quality Management System focusses on providing our clients with the best possible service. It is achieved by understanding our clients’ needs, and continually striving to exceed their expectations by:
- Applying the principles of TQM to continually monitor and review our processes
- Encouraging open communication between inter-departmental team members, and our clients
- Asking our clients for regular feedback and input about our performance, and instigating immediate remedial action to ensure any necessary improvements

The procurement of gas, water and power is complicated and the ever changing environment proves that some companies are reluctant to take overall responsibility. UCML’s knowledge allows the early identification of problems to be able to negotiate energy infrastructure costs before contracts are placed with contractors - they ‘smooth the whole process’ during the contract.
