Blacon, ChesterUCML were appointed to coordinate a scheme at a former public house in Blacon, Chester known as ‘The Highfield’. The scheme will contain 21 affordable dwellings, built as a mixture of houses and apartments, with associated car parking spaces. Upon investigation of the site, UCML discovered that a 25ml gas main encroached the site with a cost of diverting the main attributed at a massive £70k. UCML were able to use their extensive expertise to secure significant savings for the client, allowing construction to go ahead as planned without breaking budget.
